Designing an intuitive pricing page experience

Design Brief

Instant 3D to VR: Anywhere. Anytime.

IrisVR builds VR platforms that transform 3D models into virtual reality for the building industry. Communicate design vision with greater clarity and gain the trust of clients. Make decisions with speed and confidence by experiencing a true to scale space.

I was tasked to redesign IrisVR’s website to improve usability for visitors, improve quality and volume of leads, and increase lead conversion. Working closely with the marketing and sales team, we were able to elevate the user experience and visual language established on the Home page, Sign up form, Pricing page, and also the Welcome page.

The Challenge

Designing an intuitive pricing page web experience that converts

The old pricing page displays only one pricing plan at once. While displaying in detail what every license feature includes, the layout does help visitors compare pricing plans. The team wanted to simplify the pricing plans selections, and have different experiences for the types of customers. For example, the individual pricing plan would lead to a quick check out page, where as visitors interested in customized bundle pricing plans could opt in for a conversation.

The pricing page is typically known for having the most visits after the Home Page, we also decided to add key differentiator content to help push the visitors over to the consideration phase.

A brand new approach to storytelling

To help the audience understand how the VR platform will be used, we needed to elevate Iris's visual language to help showcase the collaboration aspect of the tool that brings the most value for customers using Prospect. I worked with the team’s 3D designer to create a set of illustrated scenarios that showcase in-VR experience a user will have, and how users are able to collaborate remotely in VR, using a combination of low-poly characters, in-VR avatars, and 3D buildings.
